As the summer of 2023 approaches, runners and outdoor enthusiasts from all over Romania and Europe are eagerly anticipating the second edition of the Buila Trail Race. With the proud involvement by our NEZ team, this exciting event promises to be an unforgettable experience for athletes of all levels.
Nestled amongst the breathtaking mountains of Romania’s Valcea County, participants will have the opportunity to stretch their limits and test their endurance on the trails. With three different race options to choose from and as well as a kids race for our younger athletes, runners can select the course that best suits their skill level and experience. The 11K Cros, with its 500m+ elevation gain, is perfect for intermediate athletes, while the 19K and 33K courses, with elevation gains of 1300m+ and 2700m+ respectively, are recommended for more advanced and experienced runners, and in addition will earn the participants ITRA points/ UTMB.
But no matter which course you choose, one thing is certain – Buila Trail Race promises to be a truly magnificent experience. Participants will be surrounded by stunning natural scenery, including rugged mountains, lush forests, and sparkling streams. And along the way, runners will be cheered on by the enthusiastic and supportive community of Buila Trail Race Team & Asociația Sport fără Limite Vâlcea.
In addition to the race itself, NEZ is also offering some exciting perks for participants. Early registered athletes can take advantage of a discounted signup fees, and all finishers will receive a special gift from NEZ as a token of our appreciation.
