We are thrilled to share with you that Team NEZ will be proudly supporting The Fabric SmashDown on May 13th, an event aimed at raising funds for animal welfare.

CrossFit Fabric

CrossFit Fabric is the sole CrossFit-affiliated facility in Brasov, Romania. Established in 2019, it has grown into a hub for numerous athletes. At present, they take pride in supporting over 125 members on their health and fitness journey. Our members include retired athletes, engineers, lawyers, construction workers, and teachers. Although they may seem diverse, we share a common bond. Individuals join for the fitness experience and continue for the sense of community.

The Fabric SmashDown

The Fabric SmashDown is a charity event open to athletes of all levels, and it’s also the first team competition organized by CrossFit Fabric. It’s a great chance to challenge yourself, have fun, and compete with friends without added pressure.

The Cause

The event’s proceeds will be donated to a cause we believe is worthy of our attention and support, starting with this first edition dedicated to animal welfare. CrossFit Fabric have selected a volunteer association in Brasov to receive our support.

We at NEZ take great pride in being part of this noble cause and look forward to making a meaningful impact in the lives of these animals.

Dogs are known for their loyalty, companionship, and unwavering love. Sadly, a considerable number of them are mistreated, ignored, or abandoned, leading them to end up on the streets or in shelters.

Animal welfare in Romania has been an issue of concern for years, and it’s time for a change. We aim to make a difference by supporting companies and athletes that support animal welfare organizations with the necessary resources to continue making an impact and providing better lives for dogs.

As M. Gandhi said “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
